I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and discuss how I may be of service.
If you are in a situation where you need to sue someone, are being sued, have questions about alternative dispute resolution, need to collect on a judgment or just need guidance about an escalating dispute, call for an initial consultation.
I represent clients in civil matters including breach of contract and business disputes, collections, commercial law, and enforcement of judgments. Some matters are business and others are personal or consumer issues. Examples includes unpaid loans, unpaid accounts receivable for services rendered or goods sold, disputes over quality of goods, equipment lease defaults, enforcing judgments after you win a case, etc. If someone owes you money I may be able to help.
Because I was interested in the big questions, I studied philosophy as an undergraduate at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. I then went on to study law at the Santa Clara University School of Law. I graduated in 1993 Magna Cum Laude. I passed the bar examination on the first try and was licensed to practice on December 1, 1993.
From the beginning I have primarily worked in the area of civil litigation, including enforcing judgments. Since "civil" includes many different things, over the years I have narrowed the focus of my practice to business disputes, breach of contract cases, collections, commercial matters, and enforcement of judgments. While much of my work involves business matters, I also represent individuals in personal transactions such as disputes over loans of money.
