Welcome to the beautiful office of David M. Pittman DMD, PLLC located in the Baptist Hospital/West End area of Nashville. We offer a wide variety of preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services to improve your oral health as well as the overall quality of your life. Our team is dedicated to providing you the friendly and personalized dental care that you deserve. One of the things we hope to do is to enable you to "smile often and see what happens." Your smile is the first thing those around you notice, and one of our goals is to help you feel comfortable with your smile. We do that by making our practice a patient-centered practice. We do everything in our power to keep the focus on you so that you receive the best and most accurate diagnosis possible and to make sure the treatment you receive is the safest and most comprehensive available. One of the ways we do that is by emphasizing communication. You'll find that you're involved in every step of the diagnosis and planning your treatment, from reviewing your digital x-rays with us on a large-screen computer display, to being given the information you need to completely understand what we recommend as the best way to proceed. Dr. David M. Pittman DMD, a native of Bowling Green, Ky, did his undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University. He then went on to the University of Kentucky where he graduated from the School of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Pittman is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, Woodmont Study Club and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He currently serves on the Nashville Dental Society's Board of Trustees and is a Delegate to the TDA. Dr. Pittman was chosen by his colleagues to stand on the Dental Peer Review Committee for the Nashville Dental Society.

Dr. Pittman volunteers and supports the Interfaith Dental Clinic, a volunteer run dental clinic that provides dental care to the working poor in the Nashville area. He also supports the Boys and Girls Club, Blakemore Childrens Center, Nashville Zoo, and Sylvan Park Elementary. Dr. Pittman is married to Chelle Baldwin. Chelle is a licensed massage therapist with an office located on the second floor of the dental office. They have two sweet and energetic girls, Rosie and Aly. When Dr. Pittman is not practicing dentistry you'll find him biking or running around the green ways in Nashville, golfing a little, following his favorite sport teams and trying to keep up with his two girls.
