Cindy currently serves as a board member on the Walnut Valley Unified School District Board of Education. With the confidence of her community she has been re-elected to her 4th term. She is dedicated to providing a quality education for all students, safe, secure and modern schools, providing 21st century skills, increased technology in the classroom, and fiscal accountability, even in today’s difficult economic times. She has served on the board of trustees as President, Vice President and Clerk over the last 13+ years. As a volunteer leader for over 18 years, Cindy has served in a variety of volunteer positions for the Parents Organizations of her children’s schools; the Walnut Youth Softball Organization; at the local, unit, regional, state and National level of the American Cancer Society. Cindy has been recognized for her servitude and dedication to education, the American Cancer Society, and business leadership. Because of her passion and dedication she has been a recipient of several awards.
