The NuVet Plus Canine supplement in the wafer format has been a godsend to our 14 year old terrier, Elvis. Four months ago, Elvis had a first vestibular disorder attack. He experienced more attacks over the course of the next two months. We were scared we were going to lose him, he seemed feeble and 'out of it.' Anyone who has experienced a dog with this problem knows how heart wrenching the symptoms are - loss of balance, loss of appetite, difficulty walking, etc. We went many times to the vet who infused him with fluids and gave us medications for dizziness and appetite stimulation. Then the vet was concerned a previously minor heart murmur was worsening and his blood pressure was borderline elevated and gave us medications for these issues, which made Elvis very, very sick. Determined to try a nutritional approach, we stopped the medications and did a web search for remedies. Thus we discovered the NuVet website. We ordered the NuVet Plus wafers. Within a few weeks of starting NuVet, Elvis was symptom free. He has now been on NuVet for two months. The change in his health is remarkable. He's no longer having vestibular disorder symptoms. He's energetic and spry. He barks with gusto. He walks and runs normally. We also have a much younger dog, Taco, a rescue dog. Taco is a terrier mix and about four years old. He previously was nervous about approaching his food bowl at mealtime, presumably from abuse issues in his past. He circled his food bowl cautiously, seemed ambivalent, and sometimes had to be hand fed. Since we began the NuVet supplement, which we crush and mix with both dogs' food twice a day, Taco goes immediately to his bowl and eats eagerly, literally inhaling, with no more need of encouragement from us. Eating problem cured!
