CEL is a family operated home based business since 1989 and located in Concord , California. We have licenses and liability insurance to provide repair and maintenance services in San Francisco Bay area. CEL s factory trained technicians are specialized in Projection TV & DSS Installations. We service all major brands and provide Installation, repair and maintenance services for small Dish Satellite Systems.

Cel Television and Satellite Repair was started as a Part-Time business under the name of Converter Electronics Limited on January 1, 1989 . It was a business performing repairs on Cable Television Set-top converters and descramblers. Converter Electronics Limited serviced cable systems in the Monterey, San Francisco Bay areas, Santa Barbara and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

In 1991 we applied and received our California State License for the repair of Consumer Electronics. Between 1991 and 2000 we started servicing customers in the Contra Costa and Alameda counties near San Francisco, in the repair of Projection and Directview Television sets. During that period also we started installing Direct-TV small dish satellite systems.We also started maintenance and repair of the basic C-band Satellite systems. In February of 2001 it was decided to take the business full time. The name was changed to: CEL Television and Satellite Repair. We first started doing service calls for Fry's Electronics, Extended Service Policies. These were limited to only "Out of Warranty" units. In 2002, we applied to and were accepted by "GE Service Protection Plus " to repair units under extended Service Plans for Circuit City, Good Guys and some smaller retailers. Also in 2002 we received our first warranty authorizations, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics and Sony Corporation .

To this day CEL Television and Satellite Repair remains a Family owned and operated business. Our goal is to provide not only timely service, but service of the highest quality. We try to service all customers within 3 business days of receiving their service request. CEL Television and Satellite Repair now services all major brands of consumer electronics and provides installation of several types of small dish satellite systems. We also provide custom installation for both Home Theater and Satellite systems.
