The University of California at Riverside (the leading school in entomology in California) each year offers an Urban Pest Management Seminar. At a recent seminar attendees were admonished to use some of the same techniques we have routinely used for many years. ANTS were shown in detailed scientific studies to forage up to 200 feet on both sides of a home or business. Researchers demonstrated that ANTS cannot be controlled (kept out of a structure) by applying a few ounces of pesticides (liquids or granules --- baits or otherwise) around the perimeter. Applicators have to"reach out" with the proper equipment and skill in order to provide good pest control. ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR?
A SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE: Robert Coulson started the business in Berkeley in 1937. In 1960 his brother, Gail, moved the company to the present site in Walnut Creek. *Normally our pest control service is at bi-monthly intervals (every other month). However, because of location (next to open fields, hillsides, etc.), some homes or businesses need to be serviced more often. So (aside from monthly service) we also offer "variable" service, which is monthly during the warm weather and every other month in the winter months.
