Established in 1927, the Bella Vista Restaurant retains the "roadhouse" feel of the original French country inn. With our menu of French and Italian continental cuisine, fine china, white linens, and tuxedoed waiters, the Bella Vista is a combination of old-world elegance and upscale dining. It has become a favorite "special occasion" destination on the Peninsula and is regularly featured as the "most romantic" dining experience in guides and reviews. The Bella Vista has won the prestigious Wine Spectator "Best of Award of Excellence" annually since 1999 for it's extensive wine list featuring over 600 fine wines.

Bella Vista serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday and is normally closed Sunday and Monday. Dinner begins each evening at 5:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended, and are booked on the 1/2 hour. Reservations may be made by telephone each afternoon after 3:00 p.m. or reservation requests may be left on our answering service after hours. For reservations, call (650) 851-1229.

Bella Vista's entrance features a full bar and large fireplace, with other rooms providing ample space to accomodate special events. We also specializes in private events such as luncheons and dinner on our "off" times. Bella Vista is also available for buyouts.
