At Ner Tamid, we share in each other's joys and comfort one another in our sorrows. Our doors are open wide to all who wish to participate in our Services and programming and we embrace all who seek to join with us. Our celebration of Jewish life includes the broadest range of quality programs and compelling experiences for people of all ages.

With gratitude for our many blessings, and mindful of the historical, cultural, and religious ties that we share with Jews the world over, we support the welfare of the Jewish People worldwide and take great pride in the State of Israel. Inspired by the richness of our collective Jewish past, motivated by the depth and beauty of the Jewish experience we share in together, we are committed to nurturing and strengthening the Jewish future.

Ensuring The Jewish Future -- One IDF Soldier At A Time
(Op-Ed: Jewish Journal of Los Angeles) By Rabbi Isaac Jeret

For millennia, Jews have turned to the weekly Torah portion for timely wisdom and insights into matters both spiritual and practical, matters both close to home and cosmic in significance. In this eight-part series, participants will explore with Rabbi Jeret lessons of the weekly Torah portion.

Two Jews. . . Three Opinions: Discovering the Precepts that Make us a People PAULA HORN UNGAR Wednesdays, 7:30 pm
December 8 & 15 (RSVP by December 1)
Jews have made disagreeing with each other about the nature of Jewish identity an art form. But what are the unifying precepts that make us a People? Paula Horn Ungar will present a 2-part seminar using music, food, video and lively discussion to explore what makes us mishpochah (family). The second session will feature a kosher deli dinner and the video The Nature of Jewish Identity, with Avraham Infeld, a noted international educator, who will inspire all with his humor and wisdom regarding what it is to be a Jew.

Join Yoga Instructor, Efrat Pomeranitz, for a spiritually engaging, mind/body Shabbat morning experience, bridging the spiritual disciplines of Yoga and Jewish prayer. Shabbat Shal-ohmm is open to Yoga beginners and those more experienced, alike.
Please RSVP to the Ner Tamid Office (310) 377-6986 or email receptionist@nertamid.com by Friday prior to the session.
