"I can show you the fishing experience of your life and share with you the excitement and beauty of the Sea of Cortez. This is my Goal"
You will board in San Felipe and travel 250 miles south along the Baja coastline until you reach the area known as the Midriff. Because this is the natural migration route for the yellowtail, it is sometimes known as Yellowtail Alley, or The Fish Trap of The Sea of Cortez. The season begins in March, and as you fish all the major islands, your catch will likely include giant black sea bass, white sea bass, cabrilla, giant squid, red snapper, pargo, yellowtail and grouper. Later in the season, which ends in November, expect to find dorado, pinto bass, roosterfish, sailfish, marlin, amberjack, cabrilla, yellowtail, and grouper weighing in at over 100 pounds. You may also be able to sight finback whales and bottlenose porpoises as you fish.
