Our spectacular ocean-vista site was originally home to State Senator Edward and Mrs. Bess Tickle. A great lover of flowers, particularly the pink varieties, Mrs. Tickle favored a suggestion to name their hillside stone cottage ‘Tickle Pink.’ The enchanting stone cottage has long since disappeared, but the name and its traditions happily remain.
