We speak for those who have no voice, because each animal deserves a home and love.
Do you have room in your heart and your home?
THIS INCLUDES SPAY/NEUTER.
Another Chance Animal Welfare League was founded in 2005 by six people with a vision, dedicated to help healthy, adoptable pets have another chance at a forever home.
We are located 10 miles east of Redding, in beautiful northern California, at 9384 D Deschutes Road, Palo Cedro CA 96073, phone 530-547-7387 (PETS), and e-mail information@acawl.org.
It is our goal to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, those animals who have no voice, because each healthy and adoptable animal deserves a home and another chance. This organization was formed in memory of Abby, a shelter dog who deserved another chance, and didn’t get it.
We hope to be able to build a “no-kill” shelter for adoptable animals someday, so there is a place for them until their new, forever homes are found.
Our animals are temperament tested, health evaluated and spayed or neutered to reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned or abused pets.
To encourage, enlarge and sustain our group of enthusiastic volunteers.
To obtain financial and in-kind support to allow us to care for the animals, preferably in a foster care situation so they remain socialized with people and other animals, and live in a loving home,
To make the needs of these animals known to the community, to help find forever homes, and to take care of those who cannot help themselves, whatever the cause may be, including temporary care in the event of natural disaster.
