About the Owner
Janice has been a master color/stylist since 1997. She has been trained in the Framesi, Redken, and Alfa Parf (Milan) color systems. Specializing in all facets of the hair trade from,Brazilian Keratin Straightening Treatments, Brazilian Blow Outs, cuts, color, perms, high/low lights, corrective and event styles for the whole family. She has owned and operated her own salon business but chooses to be independent so that she can concentrate her efforts more towards her clients. Brazilian Blow Outs, color correction, high/low lights, wedding, prom and special event styles are her forte.

I cater to men, women and children, offering scheduled and walk-in appointments for your convienence. My first priority is to be able to provide you with excellent care and complete satisfaction. Since January 2010, I have been fortunate enough to provide over 190 clients in the Riverside area (and the La Jolla area, also) with this new treatment and fortunate enough to be the FIRST hairstylist at SALON SINER to bring this treatment into the salon. Through alot of research, learning, and passion for the business, I can honestly say, that I am very confident and competent in being able to deliver this service to you with results lasting up to 4-5 months (depending on hair type and care of hair after treatment). Don't be fooled by nationally advertised gimmicks, read the labels, and know your chemical names and their "chemical cousins". Most products on the market list that they are formaldehyde free, when in fact they have .02% and can be listed as "formaldehyde free". Some chemical names have been changed so not to scare the public, but are very similar to all the products that are on the market. My products come directly from Brazil where the "Blow Out" originated and the BEOX brand was one of the first products of its kind. I have had NO PROBLEMS what so ever with any of my clients and the integrity of their hair and scalp. The Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a long term blow dry for hair that lasts three to four months. It is designed for people who have curly or frizzy hair but would like it straight and extremely conditioned. Pioneered in Brazil eight years ago, the Brazilian Keratin Treatment can be performed on all types of chemically treated hair (bleached, hi-lights, colored, permed, relaxed or previously straightened). It is used on frizzy, damaged, unhealthy, dull and mistreated hair.
This unique system eliminates frizz, unruly curls and waves without making it too flat like other treatments such as the Japanese Yuko System. The technique of the application is similar to the Yuko System in that the straightening irons are used to close the product into the hair cuticle, but it's not as strong and there aren't the problems with re-growth as the treatment gradually washes out over time.
Repeating the treatment every few months will allow retreatment of the new growth. The more you continue to use this remarkable product, the more time you get between treatments.
