Peninsula Equine is a state of the art, full service equine veterinary hospital and ambulatory practice which offers diagnostic and surgical abilities, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Peninsula Equine is proud to be one of only a handful of clinics in the country to have an Equinosis machine. This machine, sometimes referred to as the Lameness Locator, uses a group of accelerometers and gyroscopes to graph your horse's gait and therefore aide the clinician's eye by adding objective data to the lameness examination. We can now actually quantify your horse's lameness!

We are now creating a database of digital images of your horse. Why is this important?? Because a new online version of the Coggins forms is being developed that will use your horse's image instead of the standard drawings! And the best part is that the processing time of a standard Coggins will be slashed! So at your next appointment, be sure to have your horse ready for their close-up.
