Dr. Irwin Teichmans Approach To Chiropractic Healing
Dr. Teichman will provide a 45-60 minute treatment that includes achiropractic adjustment and deep tissue massage along with complete instruction on yoga stretches.
He describes his underlying approach to healing through chiropractic therapies as holistic. It all begins with an accurate diagnosis using state of the art diagnostic equipment such as MRIs, CAT Scans, x-rays and ultrasound imaging.
Dr. Teichman may then develop a treatment plan using one or more of the following therapies:

There are also other techniques he can use for your customized healing program.

My approach to Chiropractic is holistic. I correct the usual subluxation patterns by addressing the body’s underlying armoring or patterns of holding tension which keep the spine from being aligned and the joints from being mobile. My approach not only rids your body of back pain, but also all joint pain. Deep tissue massage with light rolfing techniques work on the myofascial issues. Mobilization of spinal segments and shoulder, knee, ankle, hip, hand, foot and hand segments results in complete reduction of pain in all those areas. You will be shown a complete stretch program based on the art of yoga. I also provide training for athletes of all levels and have trained dozens of triathletes to compete more aggressively with less pain.

A Path to Chiropractic Healing
As a chiropractic patient, you will undergo a three-stage process to heal your ailment. The process can be categorized into the relief, corrective and wellness care phases.
Relief Phase: This all-important first step concentrates on pain reduction. Therapies are selected that quickly bring an end to physical distress and discomfort. This includes techniques designed to reduce muscle spasms and any inflammation.
The goal is to enable you to go about your daily routine pain-free, without risk of further injury or especially, tissue damage.
Corrective Phase: This is when Dr. Teichman will correct the underlying problems that resulted in the condition in the first place. It includes rehabilitating and healing any damaged tissue. The idea is to prevent a future flare-up.
A critical part of the corrective care is that the patient follow the care instructions provided related to the condition. If not, re-occurrence of the problem is probable.
The recommendations may involve additional appointments, home exercises and maybe even meditation. Understand that even when pain has disappeared, additional healing time might be required to fully restore the patient back to optimal health.
Wellness Phase: Unfortunately, symptoms of chiropractic problems usually occur after the damage has been done to the tissue. So, to detect minor issues prior to them turning into full-fledged disturbances, Dr. Teichman will recommend periodic spinal check-ups. It may be yearly or more frequently. In fact, think of it as a dental check-up or an annual physical with your physician.
Finally, if you are experiencing physical distress or just have a medical question, feel free to contact Dr. Irwin Teichman for for a free pain management consultation today and learn how a chiropractor can help you reclaim your quality of life.
