First, let me sincerely thank you for your continued support and strong interest in our new web store. It is humbling to realize how many of you rely on our products for your homes and buildings, and how much you anticipate our new web store. Your vocal interest has personally provided me with the fuel for many long hours spent working to bring you our new store. It means a great deal to the men and women of this company to know how much you care.
So where the heck is it already!? Believe me when I say there is no person who is more disappointed we failed to meet our self imposed summer deadline. We promised you a new web store this summer, and we didnt deliver. I regret this tremendously and can only apologize.
Coming from the world of restoration and remodeling, Im very used to the idea that most things take twice as long and cost twice as much as originally estimated. With this in mind,when we began final work on developing the new web site in March, and I was quoted one month by our web developers for completion, I felt safe in stating it would be ready to launch by the end of Summer. Clearly I was wrong. Despite our best efforts, weve had to watch technical glitch after technical glitch move the site launch back month after month.
The good news is I can finally see a light at the end of the long tunnel. The web store is nearing completion and I simply cant wait to share it with you. Its beautiful, functional, and a giant leap forward from our current offering. Better still, when the site launches it will represent just the beginning. Its built on a platform that will allow rapid expansion of products and features so you should always find something new when you visit. Look for it to debut ... finally, this Fall.
In the interim, as a way to thank you for your continued patience, Id like to do two things. First, we have a catalog unlike any other on the market. Its more like a book, clocking in at over 400 pages, packed with gorgeous, full page, black and white photography showing many of our items actual size, with superb detail. Its been called the Hardware Bible by many of the top art directors in Hollywood as well as countless architects, designers, craftsman, and other industry professionals. We currently sell the seventh volume of this catalog for $12.50. From now until the site launches, Id like to offer it to you for free, with only a $5 fee to cover shipping and handling due to the size and weight of the catalog. Second, if youve come to this site looking to purchase any of the incredibly priced products featured in our new Value campaign, Id like to offer you an additional 10% discount off the purchase of any of those products until the new store launches.
