Complete accounts payable services which include printing the checks for you on our blank check stock (encoded with your bank information) with weekly or monthly balance of your checkbook.

Full charge bookkeeping services including bank reconciliation, posting to journals, posting to general ledger, workmans compensation reports, sales tax, business license reports, property tax reports/ etc. We also produce financial statements - balance sheet, profit and loss statements, etc.

Weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly payroll services. We can print your payroll checks for you on our blank check stock, which we encode with your bank information, or we can give you a stub for you to give to your employee with your check, or just after the fact payroll services. Payroll tax deposit information for you by month or quarter, quarterly payroll tax reports, and end of year payroll reports (including W-2 and 1099s).

Individual tax returns, partnership tax returns, corporation tax returns, estate tax returns as well as non-profit tax returns.
Fees are based on actual hours worked. Tax returns are billed separately, based on forms filed.

KLP has been in business for over 30 years. We specialize in all types of full business and personal accounting services, including all types of general accounting and payroll services and financial planning. From accounting to income taxes our office has three licensed tax preparers available for individual, bussiness, partnership, and corporation returns. Our office is open year around and appiontments are available on Saturdays and evenings.
KLP Bookkeeping & Tax Services is owned and operated by Karen L. Kightlinger (formerly Peters). She began her services in 1984 with bookkeeping knowledge learned in high school and junior college and on the job. Prior to developing her own business, Karen worked as a payroll clerk and went to an H & R Block tax school.

She worked two seasons with H & R Block and decided she wanted to earn for herself and not for someone else. She started with one bookkeeping client and a handful of tax clients. She still does bookkeeping for her very first bookkeeping client, and in fact takes care of bookkeeping and tax needs for 50 members of his family. She also has many of her original tax clients and is now doing their grandchildrens tax returns.

Now, her business employs four full time employees and 2 part-time employees. Her bookkeeping and payroll clients average 25-45 per year and she has approximately 925 clients for individual, partnership, LLC and corporate tax returns.
