Working along the theme of the 2010 Week of the Young Child which is Early Years Are Learning Years, Wu Yee's Children's Fair was filled with engaging learning activities such as a petting zoo, story-telling time, children's arts & crafts as well as a face and hand painting sessions with the goal to provide resources and exposures for the young children attended to learn more about domestic farm animals.

Wu Yee in the 2010 Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade
On February 27, 2010, a lovely rain-free evening, Wu Yee proudly rang in the Year of the Tiger by participating in the annual Chinese New Year parade. The Wu Yee float, which was sponsored by UPS, featured children from the community dressed in festive Chinese-themed attire and tiger outfits performing classical Chinese dance to Hold That Tiger, the Clemson University fight song. An audience of over three million people watched the parade live and on television.
The float was a Wu Yee family project. Former staff member Ben Wong guided the event with his many years of parade experience. Board member Debbie Chang choreographed and taught the dance routine to the 27 children performers. Most of the young stars were children of staff and clients. A cadre of dedicated volunteers helped to prepare the childrne's make up, dress them in their festive attire and oversees the event logistics. Gung hay fat choy!
