For nearly 200 years, Saint Raphael Church and Mission San Rafael Arcangel have served as significant historical, cultural and spiritual centers in our community. Today, our parish community continues this tradition as we come together regularly to pray, worship, learn, share and serve as disciples of Christ. We encourage you to browse our website to learn more about who we are as a faith community and how you can be a part of all that we do!
Our parish is guided by a Parish Plan that was developed in 2006.
As we prepare for the Sunday liturgy, we invite you to reflect on the scripture readings and consider our Question of the Week.
Readings for December 5, 2010 (Second Sunday of Advent): Isaiah 11:1-10, Psalm 72, Romans 15:4-9, Matthew 3:1-12.
Question of the Week: What would be the message of John the Baptist for us today?
Pregunta de la Semana: Cul seria el mensaje de Juan Bautista para nosotros hoy?
Please Come to Our Thanksgiving Day Celebration!
Begin your Thanksgiving Day at 10:00 AM in the Church on Thursday, November 25th. Please bring your canned food donations for our food pantry. The collection at mass will be given to our St. Vincent de Paul society to help those in need in our community.
St. Vincent de Paul Conference Honored Mayor Al Boro and the City of San Rafael have honored the St. Vincent de Paul Conference of St. Raphael with a special proclamation. Read it here.
