First Sunday of Advent
The Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect. Good stewards know that they are accountable for God for all they have and are, and they strive to live in readiness for His coming.
The Giving Tree with angels will be in the church until December 17. Each angel lists a suggested gift item to donate for a child in need. Please give to those in need. All items must be new. I request that there be no violent items such as war toys or play guns of any type. We do not want to limit your gift buying, so if you wish to donate something else that is fine. You are welcome to bring the unwrapped gifts to the Parish Office or our Parish Advent Party on Thursday, Dec. 16. Thank you for helping the poor in our neighborhood celebrate Christmas.
-Sister Anne Bertain, O.P.
