Learn To Dive With Aqua Divers
Our goal at Aqua Divers is to create scuba divers that are confident in their abilities. It is our belief that to be a good scuba diver, you must start with dive safety. We pride ourselves with a commitment of personalized training to maximize the potential of the students ability to handle the under water environment. A comfortable diver is a safe diver and will have more fun in the under water world.
Aqua Divers is an affiliate of SSI (Scuba Schools International), one of the largest international training organizations in the world. SSI’s goal is to create comfortable, confident divers who are prepared to dive in the real world. So no matter what level of training you choose, one of the major benefits of choosing an SSI Dealer is learning to dive with the SSI Total Teaching System.

World Class Diving In Monterey Bay
The underwater world in Monterey Bay is a spectacular, colorful, and wonderful place to learn how to scuba dive. Here we have a unique opportunity to swim with harbor seals, and the great California Sea Lions of the Pacific. We also have reefs, and kelp beds that are teaming with life. People come from all over the world to dive the Monterey Bay Kelp Forest. We do our training in the shelter of the Monterey Peninsula. This is also a unique dive site because of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Reserve Area. If you are a new diver, I hope that you will join us in your next quest for adventure. Aquatic Life Of Monterey Bay
Monterey Bay is renowned for its incredible collection of photogenic marine life such as lush carpets of Corynactis anemones in bright orange, lavender, fluorescent red and pink. White plumed anemones; Metridiums, are home to a great many animals. Baby octopus hide among the anemone stalks, lingcod and cabezon hide under the tentacle. Nudibranchs, shrimp & tiny crabs can also be found at the bases. Sheer walls of colorful anemones make for excellent wide angle photography. Lingcod, cabezon & assorted rockfish move through the kelp beds which makes a wonderful photo combination of fish, kelp and sunlight. Late winter and early spring gray whales move through the area on their northern migration. Early summer squid migrate to Monterey Bay by the millions to mate and lay their eggs.
