Chico Electric, a California based Electrical Contractor since 1960, is a recognized leader in electrical construction and Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Systems planning, engineering and installation. And with our award winning service department, “Quick Service” we ensure our customers power plants and electrical facilities are well maintained 24/7. Chico Electric takes pride in providing our customers safe, high quality and timely installations working close with owners, utilities and government agencies from initial designs and budgets to well after construction is complete.

Chico Electric’s history in Renewable Energy dates back to Thermal Solar in the 1970’s, PV Solar beginning in 1999, and since then has implemented PV solar along with our existing general electrical construction services for customers in agriculture, food processing, manufacturing and education. Our work includes industry leading projects, such as Sierra Nevada Brewery where we designed and installed one the largest roof-top solar installations in the nation. Our solar installed base has generated millions of kWh’s for our customers.
