Physical Therapy is all about you...
We believe that, as our patient, you should come first in your therapy. Your goals for recovery are the primary focus of our care for you. We take pride in providing you with personal attention as we work together to regain your quality of life.
Are you and your bike a good match?
Barrows is proud to offer Bike Fit, an amazing program created to analyze and correct cycling issues such as riding comfort, proper fit, and performace. Our physical therapists are trained to perform a series of tests to pinpoint your cycling strengths and weaknesses.
Our physical therapists can assess, manage and treat disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. We also provide treatment of postoperative joints, acute sports injuries and arthritis.
As our patient, you will ge given a customized program that is specific to your needs, and our physical therapists will work closely with you throughout the recovery process.
We have special interest in the treatment and preventative care of athletes including professionals and weekend warrior-types. Our goal is to help you achieve excellent performance by learning proper techniques to avoid injury. And if you are already injured, we can put you on the path to recovery while you learn how to avoid reinjury.
With sports physical therapy, Barrows approaches your program with emphasis on prevention, evaluation, and treatment of injuries that revolve around sports and exercise.
We understand the importance of helping injured workers get better and back to work as soon as possible. Our work-related physical therapy programs are created to maximize your outcome.
We also offer work conditioning and a cost-saving physical ability testing program called WorkSTEPS to screen potential employees to ensure they fit the physical demands of their jobs.
If you have a balance disorder such as vertigo, our physical therapists can help you using eye/head exercises, balance exercises, and walking exercises. We also use Frenzels Goggles to evaluate your level of dizziness by recording eye movement and find them to be very helpful with vestibular rehabilitation.
