Frequently, we get the jobs no one else can handle. We just finished an extraordinary project for a wine collector's private cellar. Another was a recent project that required us to fabricate a four-hundred pound table base out of solid acrylic. The designer attempted it in glass, but kept getting imperfections. We solved the problem with the help of more than twenty years fabrication experience. You can read about this project here. Our name, Architectural Plastics, says it all. We create distinctive outdoor and indoor public directories, building facades, UV protective and anti-glare glazing, exterior sign panels, outdoor kiosks, columns, elevator panels, wall-dividers, and distinctive corporate and public exhibits and meeting room facilities. Custom Plastic Fabrication - Lighting, Electronic, Medical, Industrial
In many industries the plastics or composites component of new products is increasing rapidly because of the wide acceptance of proven compounds like Corian, ABS, Polycarbonate and modern acrylics. Plastics are suitable because they are strong, lightweight, durable, machinable and they can be produced with excellent chemical resistance and abrasion resistance. Materials like ABS and Corian are also FDA approved for use and compatible with food or pharmaceutical applications.

Architectural Plastics has produced hundreds of different plastic components and finished products for optical, electronic, telecommunications, machinery and industrial companies. Applications are numerous, including protective enclosures that you can see through, durable access panels, protective keyboard covers, desktops, workspaces, boxes and trays for laboratories and shops, optical quality viewscreens and placquards for operator access panels. We have the capability to build to your production drawing, but we can also participate with your design team and produce the drawings for you.

Our fabrication capabilities are fairly extensive, and whether you simply need a hard to find material, or you need us to fabricate the part for you with our CNC machining equipment, we can do it. For instance, lighting manufacturers rely on us as a quick shipper for panels, pre-cut diffuse acrylic or textured acrylics and pre-fabricated components for their products such as light panels, light diffusers, exterior and interior light boxes and other commercial lighting products. Another example: we helped a medical product manufacturer that was developing a new DNA ultraviolet imager to reduce the optical distortion created where the product prototype's glass and acrylic viewing plates came into contact. These are just two examples of many custom applications, especially for the lighting, medical, electronics and optical industries.

Plastic CNC Machining, Cutting, Drilling, Joining
Architectural Plastics specializes in non-injection, non-molding fabrication techniques like saw cut, CNC milling, drilling and machining, adhesive bonding and solvent welding or mechanical joining. We provide a variety of finishing operations, from all kinds of bevelling, decorative marking, silk-screening and some heat forming (bending).
