Solano Family & Childrens Services (SFCS) is a private, non-profit Child Care Resource & Referral Agency. Since 1978 we have provided services and support to parents, child care providers and community members in Solano County.
Last year SFCS helped over 1800 families select the quality child care placements that best suit their individual needs. In addition, the Subsidized Child Care Program served over 2300 families covering child care costs for approximately 4100 children. The Child Care Food Program also served over 2300 children per month.

This is an important update regarding Stage 3 Child Care services, as of November 18, 2010. Asettlement on the case was reached, and the case has been closed. The agreement reached by both parties is that Stage3services will continue through December31,2010. Therefore, weWILL CONTINUEto pay for services on behalf of all ELIGIBLEStage3 children through Friday, December 31 of this year. However, with funds granted to us by theSolano First Five Commission, we will be able to continue to pay for eligible chileren under the age of six through January 31, 2011. (more…)
